Poolside Movie Night at Drift Nashville - Practical Magic

Drift Nashville is hosting a poolside movie night on Friday, October 9, with a screening of Practical Magic on the Poolside Terrace. The evening is presented by Drift Hotels, and the setup is built around the terrace: cozy fireplaces, popcorn, and spiced cider, all under the open sky. It's an outdoor screening, so the movie plays outside on the terrace rather than in a theater.

The film itself is Practical Magic, the 1998 romantic comedy about two sisters from a long line of witches. It's a movie that fits the October timing, and watching it outdoors with the fireplaces going adds to the mood. The evening is structured as a social one, with the movie as the main event and the terrace as the place to hang out around it.

There are a couple of practical things to keep in mind before you head over. First, this is a 21-and-over event, so you'll need to be of age to attend. Second, the drinks are sponsored by Astral Tequila, which should give you an idea of what's flowing. The venue is Drift Nashville, located at 10 Interstate Drive in Nashville, TN 37213.

As for the timing, the evening runs from 7 PM to 10 PM, but the movie doesn't start until 8 PM, which gives you an hour to get settled and grab some cider before the opening credits roll. General admission is free.
