Live blues-soul-rock performance by the award-winning Nashville band Piper & The Hard Times at Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar.
Piper & The Hard Times play Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar on Saturday, October 24, starting at 6:30 PM. It's a Nashville band fronted by Al 'Piper' Green, and they've been together for more than 20 years. They describe their sound as a mix of hard-charging blues-flavored rock, electrifying funk and deep, soulful reflection.
They've had a strong run lately. They won the 2024 International Blues Challenge, and their debut album, Revelation, hit number one on Billboard's Blues Chart. Their follow-up, Good Company, was recorded and produced in Nashville and Franklin by Tres Sasser and earned the 2025 Blues Music Award for Best Emerging Artist Album. Between the two, there's plenty of material to draw from for a single night.
