Paulina Jayne performs live at The Bluebird Cafe with Rob Crosby.
Paulina Jayne plays The Bluebird Cafe on Friday, November 6, with Rob Crosby joining her on stage. It's a Nashville resident's night out at one of the city's most storied rooms, and if you've never caught her live, this is a good place to start.
Jayne is a songwriter and entertainer who's earned a bit of a reputation for her energy on stage. Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn once called her the 'millennial Dolly Parton'βor 'Dolly Parton junior'βafter she opened for Keith Urban and Vince Gill at Bridgestone Arena. She was raised in Detroit and now lives here in Nashville, and she writes most of her own songs, often with her mother as a co-writer. Her sound pulls from a few different places: country storytelling at the center, with a rock and roll edge, pop danceability, and folk introspection woven in.
She's spent a good deal of time sharing stages with some of the biggest names in the business. She's opened for Sheryl Crow, Sam Hunt, Rascal Flatts, Mitchell Tenpenny, Old Dominion, Keith Urban, and Vince Gill, and has played Live Nation festival stages alongside Urban, Miranda Lambert, and Luke Bryan. In the writing room, she's worked with #1 songwriters like JT Harding, Shane McAnally, Bonnie Baker, and Danny Orton.

Her recordings have picked up their own momentum over the years. 'Big Hair Bigger Dreams' was a national Discovery pick on Shawn Parr's 'Across the Country' radio show, 'Love's Gonna Always Win' has gathered over half a million streams, and 'Drove By,' produced by Grammy winner Mills Logan, landed on CMT. On November 6, she'll be performing at The Bluebird Cafe with Rob Crosby.
