Oddity Improv

Oddity Improv is back at Zanies Nashville Comedy Night Club on Tuesday, December 1, with the troupe's main cast taking the stage. If you've never seen them, Oddity is a local non-profit troupe that does completely clean, high-energy improv built entirely on audience suggestions, so no two nights ever end up the same. The cast works from real audience confessions, memories, awkward moments, and unbelievable experiences, bringing them to life through fast-paced improv, recurring characters, and scenes that build on the fly.

The performers are award winners trained at The Groundlings, UCB, and Second City, and they bring that kind of pedigree to a show that's as much about the crowd as it is about the cast. Each month carries its own theme, and every show is a 90-minute piece of theatre that may feature a surprise guest. Because it's all improvised, the whole thing is built around what happens in the room that night, which is why it's a different experience every time.

Zanies is at 2025 8th Ave S in Nashville. Doors open at 6 PM and the show starts at 7 PM. Tickets are $21, available through Will Call only, and you'll need to show the ticket purchaser's driver's license for entry.
