A members-only monthly wine tasting party featuring a mystery aroma challenge and light bites, with a featured bottle to take home.
City Winery Nashville is hosting its October Vinofile VIP+ Pick Up Party on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 12 PM. It's the winery's monthly members-only gathering, where the wine of the month is paired with light bites and conversation. This edition is titled Hauntingly Fine Blood Red Wine: A Mystery Aroma Challenge, and it takes a cue from Drops of God: you'll smell a series of mystery aromas commonly found in red wine, guess what they are, and then taste through a selection of blood-red wines to see how those aromas come to life in the glass.
City Winery itself is a live music venue in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, close to downtown, that pairs entertainment with full dinner service and award-winning wines in a fully seated, intimate setting. It's welcomed artists like Keb' Mo', Rodney Crowell, Shawn Colvin, Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, and Allison Moorer. The Vinofile VIP+ wine club includes a featured bottle to take home, a complimentary wine flight, and 48-hour early ticket access with no fees.
