A family-oriented afternoon celebration with regional Mexican music, live entertainment and dancing on the Skydeck stage.
Norteño Day Party – Loud & Boozy takes over the Skydeck on Sunday, October 11, for an afternoon of regional Mexican music. It's a day party in the truest sense: it starts in the early afternoon and runs well into the evening, so you can spend a good chunk of your Sunday on the dance floor without having to stay up until the early hours.
The music is the whole point here. The party centers on regional Mexican sounds, with live entertainment and dancing taking place on the Skydeck stage. It's built as a family-oriented celebration, so it's the kind of thing you can bring the kids to rather than leaving them at home. If you're into Norteño, the setup is straightforward: live music, a dance floor, and an afternoon that stretches long enough to actually settle into it.

As for where it is, the Skydeck is on the third level of Assembly Hall, at 5055 Broadway. Being up there gives you a bit of distance from the Broadway sidewalk while keeping you right in the middle of the action. The party runs from 2 PM to 7 PM, with doors opening at 2 PM, so you've got five hours to work with. If you're planning to make a day of it, coming early gives you plenty of time to get settled before the dance floor fills up.
