Neko Case and Allison Russell bring their acclaimed Americana, folk and roots music to the historic Ryman Auditorium, with special guests Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Destroyer.
Neko Case and Allison Russell play the Ryman Auditorium on Friday, October 30, starting at 7 PM. They're sharing the bill with special guests Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Destroyer, who's playing solo, and more names are still to come. The whole night leans into Americana, folk and roots music.
Case arrives as a Grammy-nominated iconoclast. She produced her own ninth album, Neon Grey Midnight Green, which she describes as her biggest-sounding and most intimate record yet. She identifies as gender fluid and uses she/her pronouns.
Russell brings her own songwriting and vocals to the pairing. Together, they're bringing their acclaimed songwriting, powerful vocals and genre-defying artistry to the Ryman. The bill is built around Americana, folk and roots music, and the guest list—Gilmore and Destroyer—fits right into that territory.
