A tribute and birthday celebration of John Lennon featuring Afton Wolfe, Jonny Strykes and other musicians.
3rd & Lindsley Bar and Grill is hosting a Nashville tribute and birthday celebration for John Lennon on Friday, October 9, 2026. It's a big one, with a long list of local musicians coming together to play his songs on the same day he was born. If you've spent any time in the Nashville scene, you'll recognize a good number of the names on the bill.
Leading the way are Afton Wolfe and Jonny Strykes, and they're joined by Brian Wright, Chad Styble, Matthew Szlachetka, Daniel Seymour, Justin Amaral, Aron Tyler King, Irakli Gabriel, Molly Martin, Courtney Santana, ZG Smith, Nikki Barber, Brandy Zdan, Maisy Owen, Kevin Daniel, Amanda Raye, Suzie Chism, and Seth Fox. That's nineteen performers in total, so you'll be hearing a lot of different voices and interpretations throughout the night. With a lineup that deep, the evening is less of a single set and more of a full-night celebration, with different singers stepping up to take their turn on the songs.
It's a tribute in the most straightforward sense: a room full of Nashville musicians spending a Friday night playing the music of one of the most influential songwriters in history. Between the sheer number of people involved and the birthday theme, it's built to be a community affair rather than a polished revue. You'll get a wide range of voices on the same setlist, which is usually the best way to hear a catalog like Lennon's.
