NHL ice hockey match between the Nashville Predators and the Vegas Golden Knights at Bridgestone Arena.
The Nashville Predators take on the Vegas Golden Knights at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday, October 13, with puck drop at 1 PM CT. It's the third and final meeting between the two clubs this season, and the series is tied: Nashville split two games in Vegas earlier in the year, so this one serves as the tiebreaker.
For Nashville, there's a bit of a homecoming angle to this one. Three former Predators are returning to town in Vegas jerseys, most notably Colton Sissons, who spent the first 11 seasons of his NHL career here in Tennessee. He's joined by Jeremy Lauzon and winger Cole Smith, both also former Preds. On the other side, Vegas brings back Jonathan Marchessault, who won the 2023 Stanley Cup and the Conn Smythe Trophy with the Golden Knights, as did Nic Hague, who was traded to Vegas for Lauzon and Sissons.
There are a couple of individual storylines to watch during the game. Filip Forsberg is chasing a piece of history: he's on his sixth 30-goal season, which would tie him with Markus Naslund for the second-most by a Swedish-born player in NHL history, trailing only Mats Sundin. Alternate captain Ryan O'Reilly is leading the team in points with 62, and he's credited the team's character with keeping them in the playoff hunt.

Coming into the matchup, the two teams are moving in opposite directions: Vegas is on a three-game winning streak, while Nashville has won one. With the season series tied and the playoff race still in play, this final meeting carries a bit more weight than a typical mid-season game. Puck drop is 1 PM CT on Tuesday, October 13, at Bridgestone Arena.
