Nashville Predators professional ice hockey game at Bridgestone Arena for the 2026-27 regular season.
The Nashville Predators are back at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday, November 3, as part of their 2026-27 regular season. It's one of 84 games on the schedule this year, and the home opener went off on October 1 at 7 PM.
If you're new to the team, here's a bit of where they come from. The Predators entered the NHL on May 4, 1998, as one of four expansion teams that year, alongside the Atlanta Thrashers, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Minnesota Wild. Since then, they've built a reputation for consistency: they're one of just five teams to make the postseason in seven of the last eight seasons, and one of three to put up seven straight 40-win campaigns. They made their first playoff run in 2003-04 and won their first playoff series in 2011.
Under head coach Peter Laviolette, the team spent four years as a Stanley Cup contender. The arrival of P.K. Subban ahead of the 2016-17 season pushed them to the 2017 Stanley Cup Final, and along the way they became the first No. 8 seed to knock out a top seed and the first team in two decades to win 10 straight home playoff games. Now in their 29th campaign, they play at Bridgestone Arena, which opened in 1996 and hosted the 2016 NHL All-Star Game. Off the ice, the Nashville Predators Foundation has raised more than $3 million for local charities.
