Live performance by steel guitarist Eddy Dunlap at the Ford Theater, included with museum admission.
Eddy Dunlap plays the Ford Theater inside the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Sunday, November 1, from 1:00 to 1:45 PM. It's part of the museum's Musician Spotlight series, which brings in individual players for a focused set rather than a full band.
Dunlap is a steel guitarist, and his resume reads like a cross-section of the Nashville session world. He's recorded with a wide range of artists, from the folk-leaning Noah Kahan and the indie-pop of Gracie Abrams to country names like Luke Bryan, Jon Pardi, and Mickey Guyton. He's also worked with Wyatt Flores, Jon Langston, Parmalee, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, and Clay Walker.
Beyond the studio, he's a member of the western swing band the Time Jumpers and has played in the house bands for the CMA Awards and the CMT Music Awards. He also fills in on steel in the Grand Ole Opry house band, so he's one of those players you've likely heard on a big stage without even knowing it. This spotlight puts him center stage for a change.
