Italo Disco duo Mind Enterprises perform live with support from Fred Fancy at The Basement East.
Mind Enterprises play The Basement East on Tuesday, October 13, with Fred Fancy opening. It's an Italo Disco night in the middle of the week, and if you've come across the name before, it's likely from the duo's work on Because Music.
Mind Enterprises is fronted by Turin-born producer Andrea Tirone and Roberto Conigliaro. The project really started to move after their releases on Because Music and a collaboration with Kungs, 'Never Going Home', which samples 'Idol'. From there, their videos took off on Instagram and brought them a wider audience. If you're not familiar with the sound, it's Italo Disco—dance music with a distinct European flavor, built for a club floor rather than a seated room.
That last part is worth keeping in mind for the night itself. The show is strictly 18 and over, and you'll need a valid ID to get in. Most nights at The Basement East are standing room only, so you'll be on your feet for the set. There's no re-entry once you're inside, and backpacks aren't allowed, so leave the big bag at home and come light. Fred Fancy opens the bill, and Mind Enterprises takes over from there.
