Matthew West, acclaimed Christian singer-songwriter, performs live on his Jesus Is King Tour at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
Matthew West brings his Jesus Is King Tour to the Ryman Auditorium on Sunday, April 25, 2027. It's a stop on the spring leg of the tour, which he extended with 18 new dates.
West has built a career around songwriting as much as singing. Billboard has called him one of Christian music's most prolific singer-songwriters, and the numbers back that up: 39 No. 1 songs as an artist and songwriter, with RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications. He's a five-time GRAMMY nominee and was named NSAI's Songwriter-Artist of the Year in both 2022 and 2025. He's also picked up an American Music Award, a Billboard Music Award, and GMA Dove Awards, plus a Primetime Emmy nomination for Original Music & Lyrics for the title track of the film The Heart of Christmas.
There's a lot of writing behind the music, too. He's released 13 studio albums, with Don't Stop Praying (2024) being the most recent. He has more than 275 songwriting credits for other artists, including Anne Wilson, Rascal Flatts, Scotty McCreery, and Casting Crowns. Beyond the recording studio, he's written nine books and hosts The Matthew West Podcast. He also co-founded popwe, a non-profit ministry, with his father, Pastor Joe West.
