Concert by the Orlando-based quintet Magnolia Park, presenting their album 'Vamp' at The Truth venue.
Magnolia Park play The Truth on Saturday, November 28, at 7 PM. They're touring their second full-length album, Vamp, an eleven-track project released through Epitaph Records. The band produced it themselves alongside Andrew Wade, Hiram Hernandez, and Andy Karpovck, with Zakk Cervini on the mix. Two singles came out of it: "WORSHIP," featuring PLVTINUM and Vana, and "CULT."
If you're not familiar with them, Magnolia Park is an Orlando-based quintet that formed in 2018 around vocalist Joshua Roberts, guitarists Tristan Torres and Freddie Criales, drummer Joe Horsham, and bassist Vincent Ernst. They describe their sound as a mix of punk, rock, pop, hip-hop, and metalcore. It's a wide net, and they've worked their way through it by playing with a range of acts: they've headlined tours with Simple Plan, Sum 41, and A Day To Remember, and they were part of the inaugural Summer School tour. They've also played festivals like Reading, Leeds, Sonic Temple, and Welcome To Rockville.

Vamp is a neo-gothic concept album, and it follows their debut, Baku's Revenge. Between the two, you can hear how they've moved from that first full-length into the more specific, themed territory of Vamp. The show is built around that new material, so you'll get to hear the record played straight through. The set is Magnolia Park alone, with no other acts on the bill. It starts at 7 PM at The Truth in Nashville.
