Magic & Mixers

Magic & Mixers runs for three Saturdays this October at Virgin Hotels Nashville, with the Modern Conjurer working the room at the Commons Club. It's a dinner series that pairs close-up magic with themed cocktails, so instead of sitting through a stage show, you'll find the magic coming to you while you eat and drink.

Each night, the Modern Conjurer moves through the crowd with sleight of hand, performing right at the tables. The drinks are mystical cocktails, and the kitchen at the Commons Club is putting out new dishes to go with them. It's the kind of thing that works best when you're already settled in for the evening—you can order a drink, grab some food, and let the tricks happen around you.

The series is part of Virgin Hotels Nashville's Halloween 2026 program, which runs throughout the month. Along with Magic & Mixers, the lineup includes the Hex Hotel Halloween Soiree, a witchy drag brunch, The Apothecary immersive fall escape, and a two-night Halloween soiree. If you're in the mood for a few different things, you can fit this in alongside them.

Magic & Mixers runs Saturday, October 3, Saturday, October 10, and Saturday, October 17, from 6 PM to 10 PM at the Commons Club, 1 Music Square West. It's free to attend, though reservations are recommended.
