Country music singer-songwriter Lydia Simonds performs live on the Honkytonk stage with free entry.
Lydia Simonds plays Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk on Wednesday, October 14, from 2 PM to 5 PM. She's a Nashville-based country singer-songwriter originally from McDonough, Georgia, and this is a solo bill on the honky-tonk stage on the main floor.
Simonds has been playing since she was a kid, starting on piano and picking up the guitar at 15 so she could write her own songs. In 2020, she auditioned for Season 18 of American Idol and made it through to Hollywood Week. Since then, she's played rooms like Eddie's Attic in Atlanta and the Wildhorse Saloon here in Nashville, so she's well-acquainted with the city's country scene.

The set runs in the middle of the afternoon, from 2 PM to 5 PM, and admission is free. The bar welcomes all ages until 8 PM, after which it becomes 21+, so this is one of those slots where you can bring the whole family along. It's on the honky-tonk stage on the main floor of the venue, which sits on Lower Broadway.
