Free in-person DIY workshop for children ages 4 to 11 at Lowe's stores in Nashville, requiring online registration.
Lowe's is hosting another Kids DIY U workshop across its Nashville stores on Saturday, October 17, starting at 10 AM. It's part of the same series you might remember as Build and Grow, now rebranded as the MyLowe's Rewards Kids Club. These are free, in-person sessions where kids get to build something with their own hands, and they're geared toward ages 4 to 11, though kids of all ages are welcome to join in.
The workshops run on select Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM local time. Spots are limited, and you have to register online to reserve a place and a kit. The kits do run out, so it's a good idea to get there early. If you can't make the Saturday window, you can still reserve a kit and pick it up at the customer service desk on Saturday or Sunday—just make sure you swing by before 8 PM on Sunday, as they won't hold them past then.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Nashville and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's a low-stakes way to spend a Saturday morning with the kids, and since it's free, it's an easy one to add to the weekend. Just remember to sign up online ahead of time so you've got your spot and your kit waiting for you.
