Free all-day weekend of Adirondack chairs and lawn games on the lawn of Walk of Fame Park, across from the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Legends & Leisure is running daily at Walk of Fame Park from Saturday, Oct 17 through Wednesday, Oct 28, 2026. It's a low-key setup in the heart of downtown: Adirondack chairs are set out across the lawn every day, with lawn games on hand and the city skyline as the backdrop, weather permitting. The whole thing is free and open to the public.
The park itself is the public green on the lawn of the Hilton Nashville Downtown, right across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. It's also home to the Music City Walk of Fame, where granite stars are set into the ground to honor legendary figures from the music industry. If you're driving in, the Gateway Commons parking garage is directly below the park, so you don't have to hunt for a spot.
The program is run by the Nashville Downtown Partnership in collaboration with Metro Parks Nashville. It's designed as a place to slow down for a bit in the middle of the city, with the chairs and games there for locals and visitors to use throughout the day. Since it's outdoors, the setup depends on the weather, so it's worth keeping an eye on the forecast before you head over.
