A leisure event where locals and visitors can relax in Adirondack chairs with lawn games and skyline views at Walk of Fame Park.
Legends & Leisure is back at Walk of Fame Park on Thursday, October 15, from 8 AM to 8 PM. It's a simple, low-key setup: the Nashville Downtown Partnership and Metro Parks Nashville put out Adirondack chairs across the park for anyone who wants to hang out in the middle of downtown. There are lawn games to play and views of the skyline, so it's more of a place to spend a few hours than a scheduled event you have to be at by a certain time.
The park sits on the lawn of the Hilton Nashville Downtown, right across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. It's also home to the Music City Walk of Fame, where granite stars are set into the ground to honor legendary figures from the music industry. If you're driving in, the Gateway Commons parking garage is directly underneath the park, which makes getting there a lot easier than hunting for a spot on the street.

It's free and open to the public, so you can drop in whenever you're around. Just keep in mind that the chairs are subject to the weatherโthey don't put them out during inclement or adverse conditions, so it's worth checking the forecast before you head down. The park is at 121 4th Avenue South in SoBro, and the chairs are out from 8 AM to 8 PM.
