Intimate acoustic birthday celebration for country music legend Lacy J. Dalton, featuring special guests and benefiting the Let 'em Run Foundation.
Lacy J. Dalton is playing 3rd & Lindsley on Thursday, October 15, for her 80th birthday. She's calling it her "Not Dead Yet" bash, and since she doesn't make it to Nashville often, it's one of the few times you'll catch her in town. The night is set up as an intimate acoustic celebration—music, stories, and special moments among friends—and all ages are welcome.
She won't be on her own. The guest list is a deep one: Jimmy Fortune, David Frizzell, Terri Gibbs, Makenzie Phipps, Dale Poune, and Michelle Wright. Among them is David Frizzell, a Grammy-nominated country legend and the younger brother of Lefty Frizzell. He won ACM Song of the Year for "You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma" and was a hitmaker throughout the 1980s. With a lineup like that, the evening will pull from a lot of different corners of country music.
There's a cause behind the party, too. Proceeds go to the Let 'em Run Foundation, her 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving, rescuing, and finding sanctuary and homes for America's wild horses and burros. So the ticket does two things: it gets you into the room and it supports the foundation.
