Country and rockabilly musician Jonah Miles performs live at Rippy's Honky Tonk in Nashville.
Jonah Miles plays Rippy's Honky Tonk on Sunday, October 11, at 11 AM. He's the only name on the bill, so the whole set is his.
Miles comes from Beaumont, Texas, and he's been playing since he was twelve. He signed a record deal by fifteen and made his first appearance on America's Got Talent at thirteen. He studied at the Houston School of Performing and Visual Arts, and he's opened for a long list of regional and national artists: John Conlee, Jack Ingram, Gary P. Nunn, Sundance Head, Roger Creager, Glen Templeton, Brian Black, and Rich O Toole.
His debut single, "Houston, Here I Come," spent 28 weeks in the Top 100 of the Texas Regional Radio Chart. He describes his sound as spanning rockabilly, Texas country, rock, country, and pop, so the set should pull from a few different places rather than sticking to one lane. If you're into that rockabilly and Texas country side of things, this is the one to watch.
