Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit return to the historic Ryman Auditorium for a six-night run of Americana and rock performances.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit are back at the Ryman Auditorium for a six-night run this October. The dates are split across two weekends: October 15, 16, and 17, then October 22, 23, and 24. Every show starts at 8 PM.
Isbell is a six-time Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter from North Alabama, known for turning deep human emotions into poetry through song. He's spent years touring and recording with the 400 Unit, but he started 2025 with a solo record, Foxes in the Snow, recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York. That one was stripped back to just his voice and an all-mahogany 1940 Martin 0-17, so these shows will likely pull from both the full-band sound and that quieter, solo material. He also appeared in the Academy Award-nominated film Killers of the Flower Moon.
Each night brings a different opener, so the lineup changes depending on when you go. Southern Avenue opens on October 15; The Bo-Keys take the slot on the 16th; Al Kapone & The Blues Rap Band open on the 17th. Then Ben Nichols opens on October 22; Amy LaVere on the 23rd; and Tony Thomas Three on the 24th. If you're deciding between dates, the opening act might be the tiebreaker.
