Country pop concert by Nashville artist Jacob Rice at The Listening Room Cafe.
Jacob Rice plays The Listening Room Cafe on Sunday, October 11, starting at 8:30 PM. He's a Nashville country artist who pulls from Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, and Billy Currington to put his own spin on pop country. If those names ring a bell, you've got a good idea of where he sits: polished, melodic, and firmly in the country-pop lane.
He's been working his way through the city's songwriting circles for a few years now. In 2022, he was named a Listening Room Cafe Unsigned Artist to Watch, and The Bluebird Cafe listed him as a Rising Artist during its 40th anniversary. He's also part of BMI's Next Big Wave. On the streaming side, his music has landed on Spotify editorial playlists like All New Country, Fresh Finds, and New From Nashville, and he's crossed a million streams. He's opened for Jake Owen, Love & Theft, and Jeffrey Steele.
More recently, he's been spending a lot of time in the writing room. He signed a publishing deal with Mucho Love Music in 2025 and joined Ryan Larkins on the road, co-writing in support of Priscilla Block's Hey Jack tour. A few years back, he took home the Middle Tennessee region of the Tennessee Songwriters Week competition with the song "I Will Remember."
