Hoop Nashville Pop-Up

Hoop Nashville is popping up at Walk of Fame Park on Saturday, October 17, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. It's a casual, free afternoon of arcade-style basketball in the middle of downtown, and you don't need to sign up or commit to a full game to get in on it.

If you've never come across it, the setup is exactly what it sounds like: arcade-style basketball hoops brought out into the park for public play. It's a low-stakes way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday. You can stop by and shoot around on your own, work on your jump shot, challenge a friend to a quick game, or just see how high you can get your score before you head home. It's as much about hanging out as it is about the basketball.

The pop-up is part of a series programmed by the Nashville Downtown Partnership in collaboration with Metro Parks Nashville. Because it's an outdoor event, it runs weather permitting, so it's worth keeping an eye on the forecast before you make your way downtown. If the weather holds, you'll find the hoops set up and ready to go at Walk of Fame Park, 121 4th Avenue South.
