A horror-themed dance night featuring Sleep Nation performing covers of classic rock and metal, with a special set celebrating 45 years of Metallica, costume contest and 18+ entry.
Sleep Nation are hosting Halloween Ball VI at Eastside Bowl on Friday, October 16, starting at 8 PM. It's a night of horror-themed covers featuring some of Nashville's spookiest artists, with the headliners, Sleep Nation, taking the stage to run through songs by Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie, Concrete Blonde, Pink Floyd, Oingo Boingo, The Cramps, and Alice Cooper. Tucked into that mix is a special set celebrating 45 years of Metallica.
Beyond the music, the night brings back the spooky market, a costume contest, and a horror-themed photobooth, and the proceeds benefit MusiCares. Sleep Nation are an alternative rock duo from Music City, formed in 2010 by vocalist Bran Merritt and drummer Joey Lauretta. They've opened for national acts like Adema and Sponge and call themselves the "Out of Control Rock 'N' Roll Duo." Their 2016 self-titled debut album produced the single "Slip," and they wrote "I'm a Werewolf, But That's Ok" for the 2015 film Hair of the Dog.
