A horror-themed night of Goth, post-punk, deathrock and darkwave music curated by DJs Ichabod and Baron von Birk, with themed drinks and photo opportunities.
Fascination Street returns to Eastside Bowl on Saturday, October 10, for its Halloween Special Edition. It's a dance night that runs late into the early hours, from 9 PM through to 3 AM on Sunday morning, with DJs Ichabod and Baron von Birk behind the decks.
The music stays in the dark, pulling from goth, post-punk, deathrock, darkwave, coldwave, and batcave dance. The selection draws on VHS-era horror classics of 1986โtitles like Spookies, Trick or Treat, Neon Maniacs, TerrorVision, and Friday the 13th Part VIโalongside the label's own recent releases. If you're familiar with those old-school horror soundtracks, you'll recognize the mood they're building around.
It's more than just the music, though. The room is dressed in morbid decor, and the bar serves specially themed SHOCKtails. There are several photo-ops set up around the space, with Studio Luna photography on hand to capture the night, so it's a good one to come dressed for. The whole thing is over-18, and you'll need a valid government-issued photo ID to get in.
