Do615's 14th Birthday Party

Do615 is turning 14, and the celebration is happening at The Blue Room at Third Man Records on Wednesday, November 11. Third Man Events is presenting the night as a "BIG. BIRTHDAY. BASH," and the main event is live band karaoke from Now That's What I Call Karaoke and Jean Saint Lazarus. If you've never done it, that's exactly what it sounds like: a full band backing you up while you take the mic, rather than singing over a recording. Local vendors will be there, too, along with ticket giveaways and a few Do615 surprises throughout the night.

For those who haven't spent much time there, The Blue Room is an intimate space inside Third Man's Nashville headquarters at 623 7th Ave S. It's historically been reserved for live performances, film screenings, poetry readings and art shows, but it's now open to the public every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. You can grab a craft cocktail, a bottle of local brew or a pretzel from Fatbelly, lounge in the cornerless blue interior, relax on the outdoor patio and use a vintage dip 'n dunk photobooth. Regular programming there includes live music, trivia, dance parties, guest DJs, art exhibitions and 16mm film screenings.

On top of the karaoke, there's a chance to walk away with a 4-pack of tickets and some Do615 swag. The party kicks off at 6:30 PM, and tickets start at $7.81.
