Country music concert by Derek Stoner at The Nashville Palace, featuring his 1990s country-influenced sound.
Derek Stoner plays The Nashville Palace on Thursday, November 12, at 7 PM. It's a solo bill, with Stoner as the night's only feature.
If you haven't come across him yet, Stoner's path to the country scene is a bit different from most. He spent twenty years in the U.S. Army Special Forces before retiring and turning his attention to music. He spent his early years in Nashville's honky-tonks, playing rooms like Tootsies, Kid Rock's, Margaritaville, and Redneck Riviera. He's known for a powerful, wide-ranging vocal ability, and his sound draws on 1990s country, with George Strait, Alan Jackson, and Travis Tritt listed as influences. He hails from Craig, Missouri, and released his first studio album, Veritas, in 2024. He's currently working on a follow-up.
