Blues and roots artist Danielle Nicole performs live with her band at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville.
Danielle Nicole Band plays 3rd and Lindsley on Thursday, January 21, 2027, starting at 7 PM. It's a full band night: Danielle Nicole on bass and vocals, Brandon Miller on guitar, Damon Parker on keyboards, Go-Go Ray on drums, and Stevie Blacke on violin and cello. With strings in the mix, it's a bigger sound than you'll find on a standard blues bill.
Nicole is a Kansas City artist who first made her name in her brothers' band, Trampled Under Foot, which won the International Blues Challenge and a 2014 Blues Music Award for Contemporary Blues Album. She went solo with Wolf Den in 2015, which hit #2 on the Billboard Blues charts, and followed it with Cry No More in 2018, a Grammy nominee for Contemporary Blues Album that debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Charts. Her 2024 album The Love You Bleed was produced by Tony Braunagel and mixed by John Porter, and it also hit #1 on the Billboard Blues, Amazon, and iTunes charts. Most recently, she put out Fireflies on August 22, 2026, so this show comes with her newest material still fresh.
Beyond the records, she's an inductee of the Kansas Music Hall of Fame and has won eight Blues Music Awards. She's shared the stage with Tedeschi Trucks Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Phil Lesh, and opened for Bonnie Raitt and Buddy Guy. The set will pull from that solo run, from Wolf Den through Fireflies.
