Indie rock band Colony House performs at the Grand Ole Opry House, headlined by Steven Curtis Chapman, Bill Anderson and Louis York.
Colony House play the Grand Ole Opry House on Friday, November 6, as part of the OPRY 100. They're sharing the bill with Steven Curtis Chapman, Bill Anderson and Louis York, so it's a full night of music rather than a single set. The show starts at 7 PM.
Colony House is a four-piece indie rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, led by brothers Caleb and Will Chapman alongside Scott Mills and Parke Cottrell. The name comes from a humble apartment complex on 11th Avenue in downtown Franklin that has been home to at least one of them at some point in their lives. Their 2014 debut, When I Was Younger, produced the breakout single "Silhouettes," which was the most-played track on Sirius XM's Alt Nation for four consecutive months. The 2017 follow-up, Only the Lonely, fused vintage surf rock with storytelling, and its standout "You Know It" became a viral hit on TikTok and Instagram Reels, passing 100 million streams and landing in a global Samsung Mobile campaign.
In February 2020 they released Leave What's Lost Behind, which culminated in the self-produced feature film Everybody's Looking For Some Light, an official selection at the Nashville and Knoxville Film Festivals. They've played Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Shaky Knees, Firefly and WonderBus, and appeared on The Today Show, MTV Live, VH1's Morning Buzz, CONAN and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
