Chancey Williams performs at the Grand Ole Opry as part of Opry 100, with The Oak Ridge Boys, Nate Smith and Trish Suhr.
Chancey Williams plays the Grand Ole Opry House on Friday, October 30, as part of Opry 100. He's the main feature of the night, and he's sharing the stage with The Oak Ridge Boys, Nate Smith and Trish Suhr. It's a full bill, with the veteran harmony of The Oak Ridge Boys alongside Smith and Suhr, so you'll hear a few different voices across the evening.
If you're not familiar with the Opry, it's the oldest continuous stage show in the country, and it's been running since 1925. It started as the WSM Barn Dance at the behest of George D. Hay, with Uncle Jimmy Thompson on the first broadcast. It moved to the Ryman Auditorium in 1974, and the Ryman is still a nearby historic venue. Over the decades, the stage has hosted generations of country legends—Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline, and later Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley and Garth Brooks. More recent inductees include Luke Combs, Mark Wills and Kelsea Ballerini. The show usually runs about two hours and fifteen minutes, with a fifteen-minute intermission in the middle.

The venue also puts on an Opry Country Classics show, hosted by Larry Gatlin of the Gatlin Brothers, which is a tribute to the hall of fame's classic-era stars. Between that and the regular schedule, there's almost always something playing at the Opry House. Chancey Williams takes the spotlight on October 30, with The Oak Ridge Boys, Nate Smith and Trish Suhr filling out the rest of the bill. The show is at the Grand Ole Opry House, 2804 Opryland Dr, Nashville, TN 37214.
