Country music artist Caylee Hammack performs live at the historic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, accompanied by The Steel Wheels and Wyatt McCubbin.
Caylee Hammack plays the Grand Ole Opry House on Sunday, October 18, with The Steel Wheels and Wyatt McCubbin opening. It's a Nashville homecoming for an artist who's spent over a decade working her way through the city's music scene.
Hammack is an Ellaville, Georgia native who moved to Nashville at 19, writing every morning and singing every night on Broadway to make her way. Over the last 13 years, she's played smoky bars, opry houses, and music festivals across the United States. Her influences pull from a wide range: David Bowie and Kate Bush sit alongside Dolly Parton and Tom Waits, and that mix shows up in the songwriting. After three years in town, she got into ASCAP's GPS Program and landed her first major publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group. She also won the ASCAP Sammy Chan Lyricist award, joining past winners like Lori McKenna and John Mayer.
Her 2020 debut, IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU, was followed by her sophomore album, Bed of Roses, which came out in 2025. Produced by Dan Huff and John Osborne, it was named one of Rolling Stone's Best Albums of the Year So Far for 2025. Around the same time, she co-authored a romance novel also titled BED OF ROSES, with each chapter paired to a track from the album. She's also performed internationally, including a set at the Highways Festival at the Royal Albert Hall.
