Country music artist Brittany Bishop performs live on her Welcome Home tour at Puckett's Groceries and Restaurant.
Brittany Bishop plays Puckett's Groceries and Restaurant - BNA D Concourse on Tuesday, October 13, as part of her Welcome Home tour. It's a Nashville date on a tour that's taking her back to the stage, and she's the sole bill for the afternoon.
Bishop grew up on The Poor Fork ranch in Texas and picked up the guitar at 14, inspired by country greats like Hank Williams Sr. and George Strait. By 16, she was touring with a western swing band, and she's shared stages since then with Cody Jinks, The Charlie Daniels Band, Jamey Johnson, and Leon Russell. She's a regular act at The Underdog in Nashville and performed at the Women in Music City Awards in a tribute to Lauren Alaina.
Working with Grammy-nominated producer Bobby Holland, she was set to release her debut record, Shadow of the Valley, which she describes as a chronicle of her time living honky tonk to honky tonk. The Welcome Home tour brings her back to the stage to play that material live.
