Brandy Clark with Waylon Payne

Brandy Clark plays 3rd & Lindsley on Sunday, October 18, with Waylon Payne opening. It's an all-ages night at one of Nashville's established rooms, so you can bring the kids along if that's your speed.

Clark comes from Morton, Washington, and has built a career as one of her generation's most respected songwriters and musicians. She's an 11-time GRAMMY nominee and a CMA Award winner, and over the course of her celebrated career she's released three acclaimed albums. This show comes as she's preparing a new self-titled record on Warner Records, produced by nine-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlile. The first single from that record is "Buried," and it's the kind of thing that'll likely find its way into the set.

With Waylon Payne on the bill, you'll get two songwriters in one night. Clark's work has always been about the writing, and having Payne open keeps the evening in that same vein. Between the two of them, there's a lot of ground to cover, and the new self-titled record adds a fresh chapter to the three albums she's already put out.
