An adults-only Halloween costume party at the Nashville Zoo featuring unlimited adult beverage samples, animal shows, a trick-or-treat trail, and a costume contest.
BOOze at the Zoo returns to the Nashville Zoo on Thursday, October 15, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. It's the adults-only version of the zoo's family-friendly Boo at the Zoo, and it's billed as the wildest costume party in Nashville. The night pairs unlimited adult beverage samples with the zoo's signature Halloween features: you can walk the Trick-or-Treat Trail, meet Gourdon the Talking Pumpkin, and ride the Scary-Go-Round Carousel. The animals stay up late too, with Sumatran tigers, the flamingo flock, and Unseen New World appearing in animal-themed shows at the Ajax Turner Amphitheater. A live DJ plays throughout the night, and a costume contest crowns winners with a behind-the-scenes tour.
There are a couple of dedicated spots to hang out. The Smashville Lounge at Jungle Terrace is hosted by Anheuser-Busch and the Nashville Predators, and the Anheuser-Busch area at Festival Field adds the Wicked Watering Hole, where you'll find samples of NUTRL and Wicked Weed. Between the drinks, the animal shows, and the costume contest, there's plenty to keep you moving around the grounds.
