Country music duo Ashley Monroe and Charlie Worsham perform together at The Station Inn.
Ashley Monroe plays The Station Inn on Monday, November 16, with Charlie Worsham joining her on stage. It's a double bill of two Nashville regulars sharing one night, and the show is billed as two of the city's favorites performing together for a special evening of music.
Monroe has been a part of the Nashville scene for nearly 25 years, and she's earned GRAMMY nominations and critical acclaim along the way, both for her solo records and her work with Pistol Annies. This show comes on the heels of her latest album, Dear Nashville, which she wrote and produced with Luke Laird. It's an eight-song concept album that turns inward to look at her complicated relationship with the town that built her, and the songs on it carry that same kind of personal, reflective weight.
With Charlie Worsham on the bill, the night brings together two voices that have both spent plenty of time in the rooms and on the stages that define this city's country music. Between Monroe's solo catalog, the Pistol Annies years, and the new material from Dear Nashville, there's a long stretch of songs to pull from.
