Ariel Jade offers an intimate two-hour solo show with new original songs from Music Row and favorite covers, blending classic country with grassroots soul and blues.
Ariel Jade plays a solo show at Tennessee Brew Works on Friday, October 16, from 2 PM to 4 PM. It's a two-hour set, and she'll be working through new original songs from Music Row alongside a handful of covers. The set is solo, so it's just her and the songs.
Jade is a Nashville singer-songwriter who describes her live shows as a blend of classic country, grassroots soul, and blues—an Americana experience that pulls from a few different places at once. Her repertoire runs from energetic and folksy to sultry and humorous, and she draws on classic rock, old country, and grassroots genres. This particular show is solo and all original material, which is a bit different from how she usually works with her group, Smashgrass, where she plays full-band sets of originals and covers of the artists who influenced her, including Dolly Parton, Stevie Nicks, and Bobbie Gentry.
Billboard Music World once described her as "not a flash of light, but a power grid," and praised the clear intention of healing and escape that runs through her music. Her debut album, Honky Tonic, is billed as a true reflection of her heart and soul. Tennessee Brew Works is her Nashville home, a taproom that brews on-site and serves its beers in an industrial-style space with oak barrel tables, a patio, and live music.
