American Songwriter's national talent search brings three finalists to the 3rd and Lindsley stage for a live performance.
The Como Brothers, Pug Johnson, and Tabitha Meeks take the stage at 3rd & Lindsley Bar and Grill on Tuesday, October 20, for the 3rd Annual Road Ready Talent Contest. The night is the culmination of American Songwriter's national search for undiscovered talent, and this third edition brings the finalists to the 3rd and Lindsley stage in Nashville.
Three finalists made the cut from thousands of submissions, and they're the ones you'll see that night: The Como Brothers, made up of Matt and Andrew Como; Pug Johnson; and Tabitha Meeks. Each gets their own set, so you'll hear three different voices in one sitting. They'll be performing live before a room of Nashville industry and fans, which is exactly how the contest is set up—the search starts wide and narrows down to this one night on a local stage.
It's a good way to catch a few new names in one go, especially if you're into the songwriting side of things. The Como Brothers bring a duo dynamic, while Pug Johnson and Tabitha Meeks each hold their own. Since they're coming from different backgrounds and styles, the bill covers a fair amount of ground across the evening.
