Autumn in Middle Tennessee has a few go-to traditions, and the Nashville Fall Festival is one of the biggest. It's spread across 70 acres in Bellevue, right along the South Harpeth River at 8687 Old Harding Pike, and it runs through Sunday, November 1, so there's plenty of time to fit it in before the season closes.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Nashville and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The best part for families is that almost everything is included in general admission. The centerpiece is a massive hillside corn maze carved into those 70 acres, with valley views of the river; it's a daytime maze with no actors or jump scares, and the paths are wide enough for strollers on dry days. Beyond the maze, you get a seven-acre sunflower field, a pumpkin patch that includes a free pumpkin to take home, a petting zoo with alpacas, ponies, donkeys, goats and rabbits, a river walk, and a whole spread of lawn games: pumpkin bowling, cornhole, giant tic-tac-toe, checkers, hay bale mountain, tractor tire swings and a playground. Live bluegrass plays daily, and food trucks and local vendors set up on site.
If you want to go after dark, the Halloween Flashlight Night runs daily, with the corn maze open after hours and hot air balloon rides at sunset. On Saturdays, there are tethered balloon rides at golden hour, weather permitting, sold on site. A few things cost extra: pony rides are $10 a person, sunflower vases are $10 to cut your own or $20 to fill a large bag, and the balloon rides are $25. There's also a pumpkin shop on site with prices that vary.
On timing, the festival is open Fridays from 3:00 PM to dark, Saturdays from 9:00 AM to dark and Sundays from 12:00 PM to dark. Because of school recess, it's also open on Wednesday, October 14, Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Admission is $23 online or $25 at the gate for adults 14 and up, $11 online or $12 at the gate for children 7 to 13, and free for children 6 and under. Cash, card and Apple Pay are all accepted at the gate. If you're planning more than one visit, there's an adult season pass for $70 and a household pass for $179 that covers two adults and up to four children, though the named adult has to be present. School groups, churches, scouts, birthdays and corporate outings get free admission on weekdays. Parking is free on site, re-entry is allowed the same day with a wristband and leashed dogs are permitted under Tennessee law. The festival runs rain or shine, though the balloon rides depend on the weather.
If you're looking for something nearby to pair it with, Honeysuckle Hill Farm also has its fall festival running through November 1, with more than 30 attractions including its 22nd annual Country Music Corn Maze, pig races, a singing chicken show, a pumpkin patch and a skeleton band. Its shows run on a set schedule, with the pig races and candy cannon on weekends and the singing chicken show every hour starting at 10:30 AM. It's a good second stop if you're making a full autumn day of it.
