Live rap concert by Atlanta artist UnoTheActivist at the Underground Music Venue.
UnoTheActivist plays Underground Music Venue on Saturday, October 24, starting at 7 PM. He's an Atlanta rapper who started out in high school and, after a short time in college, decided to commit to music full time.
He first broke through in 2015 with the mixtape No More Thotties and built his following with tracks like "Parkin' Lot Pimpin'," "Giuseppe Swag," and "WHAT." His style is melodic rap that fuses with plugg, a subgenre of trap known for its airy, atmospheric production. In late 2017, he released his debut studio mixtape, Live.Shyne.Die, with production from Wheezy Beats and Cassiusjay and features from Famous Dex and YSL Duke. That project has since passed 35 million streams and launched the "Hate Me Now, Love Me Later" tour.
Following that, he put out the three-track mini EP Limbus Pt 1, which racked up over 5 million streams. His later work includes the Deadication remix project in 2019, his debut studio album 8 in mid-2020, and his sophomore album Unoverse in early 2021. He's known for high-energy live performances, so the set should lean into that side of things.
