Concert by Twin Cities artist sahn, blending folk, rap, R&B and pop, as part of her ten thousand mistakes tour.
sahn plays the 7th St Entry on Wednesday, December 2, as part of the ten thousand mistakes tour. The tour follows the 12-track mixtape of the same name, which she describes as a vulnerable, personal reckoning with her life journey.
If you haven't come across her yet, sahn is a Twin Cities artist whose sound resists easy labels, moving between folk, rap, R&B, and pop. The name itself refers to a special type of breathing meant to evoke peace. Born Simone Ledward-Boseman in Vallejo, California, she's been singing since she was a child and draws from blues, Motown, and funk—she cites Sam Cooke as a childhood influence and hip-hop groups like Hieroglyphics and A Tribe Called Quest as teen obsessions. Her creative foundation is rooted in Minnesota and the Midwest emo tradition, with Bon Iver, The Replacements, and Prince among her touchstones. Her mother filled her home with Depeche Mode, The Cure, Steve Miller Band, ELO, Boston, Roc-A-Fella-era hip-hop, and early Kanye West.
This show comes on the heels of a big year for her. She released the album 20 in 2025, and Pigeons & Planes named her Best New Artist of 2026. The ten thousand mistakes mixtape adds another chapter to that run, and this tour is the chance to hear those songs live. The set is built around that material, so it's a good entry point if you're just getting into her work.
