Live show headlined by Die So Fluid and Redder Moon, with Stranger Gallery, Count Spookula and DJ Bionick Jones at Zhora Darling.
Redder Moon and Die So Fluid headline Zhora Darling on Thursday, October 29, with Stranger Gallery and Count Spookula opening the night. DJ Bionick Jones is also on the bill.
Die So Fluid is a London power trio fronted by bassist Grog, who describes their sound as alternative hard rock that fuses the muscle of metal with the angular cheekbones of post-punk. They've been called a "gothic Soundgarden" and "Siouxsie Sioux meets Slayer." The band rose from the ashes of the 90s UK group Feline and released their debut album, Spawn of Dysfunction, in 2004. Grog and co-founder Drew Richards have kept the project moving through the years, even after drummer Al Fletcher passed away from sepsis in 2016. They later brought in Justin Bennett—who has played with Skinny Puppy and My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult—on drums and put out One Bullet From Paradise in 2017. Their sixth album, Skin Hunger, came out in 2024 and was followed by a West Coast tour supporting The March Violets. Since 2025, they've racked up 4 million digital streams and toured the UK, North America, and Europe, supporting acts like Drowning Pool, Clawfinger, and Prong.
Stranger Gallery is a Minneapolis post-punk and darkwave act that formed in 2021 from the remains of local dark rockers Wax Lead. They released the EP Feign and Fawn in 2022, so they're a local name coming up on the bill. Count Spookula also plays, and DJ Bionick Jones rounds out the evening.
