Punk x 3 x 3

Jonii Vee, Loop Th3ory, and Small Town Sindrome are all playing PILLLAR Skateboards on Friday, November 13, under the title Punk x 3 x 3. It's a three-band punk bill in Minneapolis, with each act taking a turn on the same stage throughout the night. If you've been following the local scene, you'll recognize the names: Jonii Vee, Loop Th3ory, and Small Town Sindrome. They're the three acts on the bill, and they're the only ones playing.

That's the whole of it—three punk bands, one night, one venue. The title Punk x 3 x 3 points to the setup: three bands playing punk, and the night is built around that. It's a straightforward lineup, with the music coming from Jonii Vee, Loop Th3ory, and Small Town Sindrome. Each one gets their own set, and they're all playing the same room.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the music starts at 7 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 the day of the show, so you save a couple of dollars if you grab yours early. With the music starting at 7 PM, you've got plenty of time to get in and settled before the first band takes the stage. If you're coming from across town, that half-hour window between doors and the first set gives you a little breathing room.
