39th annual Christmas concert with over 200 St. Thomas student performers, with all proceeds supporting students' international learning and performing opportunities in the arts.
Peace Abundant comes to Orchestra Hall on Sunday, December 6, the 39th annual St. Thomas Christmas concert. It's presented by the St. Thomas Music Department and the Center for the Common Good, in partnership with Catholic Charities Twin Cities, and it's staged at Orchestra Hall rather than performed by the Minnesota Orchestra.
More than 200 student performers take part across the Chamber Singers, Donne Unite, the Liturgical Choir, the Concert Choir, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the String Orchestra, with a prelude by the Brass Choir and Guitar Ensemble. All proceeds support students' international learning and performing opportunities in the arts. During the event, the organizers collect adult-size winter hats to distribute throughout the season to community members in need.
