Orchid Eaton, Ditch Pigeon, White Dune

Orchid Eaton play Cloudland Theater on Friday, October 16, with Ditch Pigeon and White Dune opening. It's a Twin Cities bill, so you're getting three local acts in one night.

Orchid Eaton is a psychedelic basement pop band that splits its time between Minneapolis and Eau Claire, Wisconsin. They're fronted by Matt Leavitt, who records as EMOT, and Brian Moen, who also plays in Shouting Matches and Peter Wolf Crier. The group put out three Recreational Music EPs last year and has been working on its third full-length LP.

Sharing the bill are Ditch Pigeon, a genre-bending Twin Cities band led by Hayley Anne, and White Dune, the electronic project of Minneapolis drummer Dave Power. Power's full-length RARE EARTH came out September 4 on Bumpy Records, so White Dune is playing with a new record fresh behind them.

The show starts at 7:30 PM at Cloudland Theater, 3533 East Lake Street, and tickets start at $9.44.
