Free indie pop and piano show by singer-songwriter Monica Livorsi, with Grace Stefan and Riley Gulotta.
Monica Livorsi plays Utepils Brewing on Friday, October 30, from 6 PM to 8 PM. She's a singer-songwriter and pianist based here in the Twin Cities, and she'll be joined by Grace Stefan and Riley Gulotta. Admission is free.
Livorsi has been around the piano since she was five and started vocal training at twelve. She went on to study classical voice and nonprofit management at Butler University, where she graduated with a degree in Arts Administration Music in 2018 before moving back to Minnesota. Her recorded debut came in 2021 with the single "Come Back Around" and the EP Here and Now. Her first full album, All About Jane, arrived in April 2024 — a Jane Austen concept record where each song centers on a different female character from Austen's novels. She describes her sound as indie pop and theatrical alt-pop, and she's played venues like Orchestra Hall, Crooner's, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, and 318 Cafe.
