Songwriting-focused Indie Americana artist Lynn Crossett plays The Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown, part of Folk Alliance Midwest Region 2026.
Lynn Crossett plays The Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown on Thursday, October 22, at 7 PM. He's a songwriting-focused Indie Americana artist who splits his time between Central Texas and Southern California, and he hails from San Marcos, Texas. The Minneapolis date is part of Folk Alliance Midwest Region 2026.
Crossett has spent the last few years building a presence on the Americana charts. In 2022, he released In the Company of a Song, which debuted at No. 6 on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Americana Country Album Chart and stayed in the top 10 for eight weeks. He followed that with Autumn to August, released on June 20, 2025, and recorded with Grammy Award-winning producer Lloyd Maines. That record debuted at No. 4 on the same chart and climbed to No. 1 the following week.
Since then, he's moved into a full-time music career and a more ambitious national and international touring schedule, which is how he's landing here in Minneapolis. The set will draw from that songwriting focus he describes, with the newer material from Autumn to August likely taking center stage alongside songs from In the Company of a Song.
