The Savannah Bananas play two games of their Banana Ball World Tour at Target Field, with The Party Animals versus The Firefighters.
The Savannah Bananas are returning to Target Field for two games on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5, 2027. This is part of their Banana Ball World Tour, and the matchup is The Party Animals versus The Firefighters.
If you've never seen it, Banana Ball is a fast-paced, fans-first version of baseball created by the Bananas. They've reimagined the game with 11 unique rules—no walks, a point-per-inning system, and a two-hour time limit—all designed to keep the action moving and the crowd on their feet. Fans can even catch foul balls for outs. Between the pitches, choreographed dance routines, trick plays, and epic celebrations are the norm, so it's as much a show as it is a game.
Minneapolis was one of 74 cities chosen from more than 300 applicants to host a 2027 tour stop, and Target Field was one of 23 MLB stadiums selected. The rosters are filled with some of the most entertaining and talented players in the world, including former MLB stars and celebrity guests.
