The 2026 edition of the UK Jewish Film Festival, marking its 30th anniversary, with screenings across the festival programme in Manchester.
The UK Jewish Film Festival is coming to HOME on Monday 23 November, as part of its 2026 tour. This is the festival's 30th anniversary, three decades of bringing hundreds of films about Jewish life and culture to UK audiences. It's a big milestone for them, and the Manchester screenings are just one part of the wider run.
The festival kicks off in London from 5 to 15 November, then heads out on tour across Manchester and more than a dozen other UK locations. In Manchester, it's split between HOME and Cineworld Didsbury, with the tour running from 15 November to 3 December. If you can't make it to a cinema, there's an online festival running from 18 to 30 November, so you can catch the programme from home.

Beyond the screenings, the festival supports emerging filmmakers through the Pears Short Film Fund and the Dangoor UKJF Short Doc Fund. The 2026 winners include Oslo Court, Rambling, Fish, Chips and Faith, The Last Jewel of Hatton Garden and Mizrahi Mismatch — five new shorts that will be part of the year's output. If you're planning on seeing more than one film, becoming a member of UK Jewish Film costs £50 and gets you a 20% discount on festival screenings and priority booking for galas.
