Trivium headline at Co-op Live with special guests In Flames, Paleface Swiss and VOLA.
Trivium play Co-op Live on Friday 2 April 2027, with In Flames as special guest. It's one of four UK dates on the run, with the others in Dublin, Glasgow, London and Cardiff, so this is the Manchester stop of the tour.
Trivium describe their sound as broad-minded, taking in thrash, death metal and even prog-rock. In Flames formed in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1990 and are billed as a legendary melodic metal act that has toured the planet countless times and influenced many of today's biggest metal bands. They're the main support here, but they're far from a small addition to the bill.
There are two more bands on the night. Paleface Swiss is a Swiss hardcore band that formed in 2017. VOLA is a Copenhagen-based quartet whose eclectic, groove-oriented music draws on 70s progressive rock, modern electronica, industrial and extreme metal, fronted by Asger Mygind on vocals and guitar. Between the four of them, the bill runs from hardcore through melodic metal to prog-influenced groove, so there's a fair bit of ground covered before Trivium take the stage.
